Before trying out the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum, I was already deeply in love with the Innisfree’s Eco Science Line, which I’ve reviewed previously. And I wouldn’t believe another line from Innisfree would be better than the Eco Science Line. But after using the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum for the first time, I instantly understood the reason for it being the best selling product for Innisfree for years.
The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is a lightweight toner-like serum that instantly absorbs into the skin. You could really feel the hydration entering the skin, making it soft and supple. Long term use of this product sees steady improvements to the skin’s hydration level, softness, plumpness and radiance.
If you’ve ever wondered what makes it the best seller of Innisfree, I highly recommend you give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum comes in a small hard plastic pump bottle. I especially appreciate the cap that comes with the pump. The cap makes travelling with the serum much easier as it locks the pump preventing accidentally dispersing the product. It also keeps the mouth hygienic.
It is quite easy to control the amount coming out with the pump. I use one full pump per use.
It flows easily and absorbs instantly into the skin. There is no stickiness at all.
There is a slight fragrance to the serum. It smells artificial, but not overwhelming. I do think this product could do with a little less fragrance.
I normally take a full pump, and pat it across my entire face and extend down to the neck area. The serum absorbs instantly. As mentioned earlier in the post, you could really feel the hydration being absorbed deeply into the skin upon application. It’s the feeling of injecting water into the skin cells and not oil or film sitting on top of the skin. I feel I just came out of a spa treatment after applying this. The skin feels soft, plump and hydrated.
I’ve been through 2/3 of a bottle now and have really see a difference to my skin’s health level. Because my skin is much more hydrated and balanced, it produces much less oil and my make up would last quite well during the day without any setting powder or spray.
I stopped using it for 2 weeks during the course, and noticed on my skin was not as radiant and soft.
The content is much larger than a normal 30ml serum, but its consistency is much closer to a toner. I feel Innisfree has positioned the price point of this product in between a toner and a serum.
If you look at its content and function, for a product that contains 76% green tea seed extract and makes real difference to the skin’s condition, I’d say it’s pretty well priced.
One bottle should last about 3-6 months depending on your usage.
The lightweight texture, instant absorption and intense hydration is the key to its success over the years. If you haven’t already, the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is worth trying regardless your skin type.
