Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Cream Review

Why is this eye cream the winner in “Get it beauty” blind test? – Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Cream Review

I love keeping my eye area cared for. Many people think that eye creams are not necessary, but I believe if you use an eye cream consistently, it will make a big difference in the long run, same as the daily effort that you put into skincare or anything else that you do.

Over the years, I’ve tried many different eye creams and some of which have really helped me to control the fine lines under my eye. I’ve been using the Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream for over a year now. I was first intrigued to this eye cream because it was the 1st place in the “Get it beauty” blind test for anti-wrinkle eye cream, beating all other big brands in both the Western and Asian market. After using it for over one year, I can truly understand why people love it so much.

In this post, I’ll review the Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream and share with you my thoughts on it.

Packaging

Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream comes in various sizes, either in a tube or a tub form. I personally love the tube packaging. Not only it is so convenient and hygienic to use, but the tube design perfectly suits the texture of this eye cream. The soft plastic and the pointy tip makes dispensing the product easy and effortless.

Ingredients

Panax Ginseng Callus Culture Extract, Aspergillus/Rice Ferment Filtrate, Butylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl carbonate, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Lactobacillus/Lemon Peel Ferment Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, sh-Polypeptide-11, sh-Oligopeptide-2, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Hexapeptide-12, Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate , Cetearyl Olivate, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Copper Tripeptide-1, Sorbitan Laurate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, Ginsenosides, Colloidal Platinum, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Punica Granatum Fruit Extract, Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract, Morus Alba Fruit Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Nut Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Artemisia Absinthium Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Gentiana Lutea Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Polyglutamic Acid, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Grifola Frondosa Fruiting Body Extract, Maltodextrin, Magnolia Kobus Bark Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, Beta-Glucan, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Carbomer, Allantoin, Arginine, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Boswellia Carterii Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Adenosine

The ingredients list is pretty solid, with two of the base ingredients being Ginseng Extract and Rice Ferment Filtrate. The concentration of these extracts are unknown, but the eye cream has a light texture, so the water content wouldn’t be low. The peptides in this eye cream are quite high up on the list, which explains it’s strong anti-wrinkle effects. There are also no dimethicone or filler ingredients that have no real benefits but make the product feel “heavy-duty”. Finally, it doesn’t contain Fragrance. To me, this is a 5-star formula that’s quite rare in the eye cream market.

Colour

The product has a white, translucent colour.

Scent

The product has a slight citrus/orange peel scent from the fruit extracts and oils.

Texture

This eye cream has a very light texture. It is a gel cream, but doesn’t have the slimy gel texture. It’s a very pleasant texture that spreads well and absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t interfere with other products or makeup you put on afterwards.

Application

The eye cream spreads out to a watery texture and absorbs quickly into the skin, without any residue. A small grain-size is sufficient for both eyes. (Hence it took me over a year to finish the 20ml tube). I like to apply it on the under eye and then smooth out to in between the eyelashes, then spreading to the upper lid and the temple area.

The light texture is very smooth and easy to spread without the need to stretch the skin.

Results

Like any good eye cream, the Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream provides a lot of hydration to the eye area, keeping it moisturised and smooth. It also keeps my lashes full and strong – another good sign that the eye cream has good regenerative functions. In addition, my fine lines have not deepened over the year. Unfortunately, I still have fine lines, but it’s something that’ll be very difficult to get rid of, and the reason why you should start using eye creams before any fine lines ever develop!

Price

36,000 Won / 20ml

I think the price is very reasonable for an eye cream that would last over a year with daily use.

Verdict

Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream is one of the better eye creams I’ve used over the years. It does a good job at keeping the eye area hydrated and smoothing out fine lines/wrinkles. It has a solid formula full of good stuff and a light texture that works for all skin types.
