Shipping & Handling

An order confirmation email will be sent to your email address when you place an order.

Our turn around time for processing your order is 1 business day upon receiving your payment.

Orders can either be picked up from our Rhodes office or delivered to your choice of location.

Pick Up:

Orders can be picked up free of delivery charge from our Rhodes office in Sydney. Instructions will be sent to you via email once your order is ready to pick up. You will need to book a time with us in advance. Make sure you have confirmation from us before coming to avoid disappointment.

Shipping Address:

We deliver to addresses accepted by the Australia Post network which includes PO BOX and PARCEL LOCKERS.

We recommend using a business address wherever possible.

Standard Post:

Standard shipping is $9.90 for all orders delivered within Australia. It takes 2-6 business days depending on the delivery location. Tracking is included with this service, please allow 1-2 business days for tracking to appear on the Australia Post’s website. There are cases where the parcels do not get scanned until they are delivered, please do not be overly concerned if you see “pending” as the status. Feel free to contact us if there are any issues.

We currently do not ship to locations outside of Australia.

Express Post:

Express post is $15.40 for all orders delivered within Australia. Next business day delivery within the Express Post next business day delivery network (terms in accordance with Australia Post).

The Sesame Shop does not accept any responsibility for delayed delivery time.

Shipping Insurance:

Please add shipping insurance ($2.50) to your order if you wish to claim for compensation in the event that your parcel is damaged or lost during transit.

If you opted for “no shipping insurance” at checkout, in in the event that your parcel is damaged or lost, we will do our best to help you recover the loss, however compensation cannot be guaranteed and will be at the discretion of our service provider – Australia Post. Please read Australia Post’s policy on lost, damaged or delayed items.

Returned Parcels:

In the event that your parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address entered at check out or unclaimed from the post office, you are responsible for additional shipping charge to have the order re-shipped to you. If you wish to cancel the order, the applicable shipping cost will be deducted from your total refund. A re-stocking fee of $10 applies.
