Different to the large mass Hyaluronic Acids (HA) typically used in skincare products which have a molecular mass of 1,000,000 Da, the low molecular weight HA has a molecular mass of 5,000 Da, which is 200 times smaller. The low molecular weight HA can penetrate deeper into the skin and provide longer-lasting hydration.

The ingredients list is simple yet contains all the necessities for hydrating and soothing the skin. This is reflected in the user experience of the toner. Whilst the toner penetrates into the skin in no time, it leaves the skin moist, plump and soft. By using this toner, it balances the skin’s pH level after cleansing, plumps it with long-lasting hydrating and soothing ingredients and preps it for better absorption for the following skincare products.

THE LAB by blanc doux Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Calming+ Cream is a simple cream that provides moisturisation to the skin and creates a barrier that helps the skin to retain moisture for a long period of time. The cream uses low molecular weight HA similar to the toner and has a medium texture that is smooth and buttery. It glides over the skin easily and absorbs well into the skin, leaving the skin moisturised and protected. It provides sufficient hydration to the skin but without feeling oily, sticky or suffocated.
