Acne Patch Comparison

I think acne patch is one of the greatest inventions in the beauty industry. It makes the healing of acne so much faster and more importantly so much more hygienic. But as more and more brands are coming out with their own acne patches, it becomes a little confusing to choose. Below is a table of comparison for the 6 types of acne patches tried and tested at The Sesame Shop.

Cosrx	Clear Fit Master Patch	Thin rim with thicker centre, glossy	✦✦✦✦	✦✦✦✧	18 circular patches (18* 10mm)	$4.99 ($0.27 per patch)	This is the most common type of pimple patch in the market, used by many brands. Its thinner texture makes it sticks to the skin very well and appears less visible on the skin, therefore you can wear it during the day.
Cosrx	AC Collection Acne Patch	Thin rim with thicker centre, matte	✦✦✦✦	✦✦✦✧	26 elliptical patches (8* 15mm x 23mm + 9* 11mm x 16mm + 9* 9mm x 13mm)	$7.50 ($0.28 per patch)	This is the latest release from Cosrx. The main advantage is the bigger size, so if you have multiple pimples very close together, you may find the large size more useful. The effectivenss is comparable to the Clear Fit Master Patch.

The 12mm size is very convenient for slightly larger pimples. The effectivenss is comparable to the Clear Fit Master Patch.

Overall, it’s true that you get what you pay for. The first 4 types of acne patches are more or less the same and they’re around the same price. The last 2 types are a little less effective, but they’re dirt cheap, therefore are worth having around when you have pimples that are not as difficult to deal with.
